Seeta Patel Dance has a great Board of Trustees to support Seeta and the development of the company.

Chair - Sam Allen

Sam AllenSam Allen is an award winning arts engagement specialist and Founder and Director of Creative Arts Social Consulting Ltd. She is a passionate advocate of anti-racism and social justice in the arts and heritage sectors. Since 2012, she has worked to dismantle structural inequities to catalyse positive and sustainable change by developing audience engagement strategies, improving opportunities for marginalised people in the workforce and building inclusive business development plans to positively transform organisational cultures inside and out.

Sam has worked with a range of leading cultural and educational organisations in the UK and internationally and she is frequently invited to share her expertise as a keynote speaker, lecturer and thought leader on anti-racism, identity, belonging, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion in the workplace, Black British history and Decolonisation in the arts and heritage sectors.

Trustee - Eloise Tong

Eloise TongEloise is a highly creative, resilient and motivated Arts Manager with a background in dance, theatre and across live performance.

Collaboration is vital in all of her work, she is passionate about engaging more people in arts and culture and working in partnership across sectors to ensure that everyone has access to high quality performance.

She is currently the Theatre and Arts Service Manager at Caerphilly Council - managing the Blackwood Miners Institute and the Council's Arts Development team.

‘ I have followed Seeta's work for a long time and became a Trustee in November 2020. I value Seeta's talent, generosity and commitment to improving opportunities for artists across the dance sector. Working with Seeta Patel Dance is incredibly inspiring and I am excited to see what comes next.’

Trustee - Caroline Anstey

Caroline AnsteyCaroline’s portfolio career includes working in TV production for 25 years, leading marketing departments for small arts charities and she is currently working with Bath Spa University on a research and development creative teach programme. She is also a mentor and coaches women in the creative sector.

‘Seeta inspires passion and creates change. She is not afraid to challenge and speak out. The body of work created under her company and the way Seeta works, with all involved, is a perfect reflection of this. I feel most privileged and humbled to be part of the growth of this force for good in the creative sector.’

Trustee - Yen-pei Chen

Yen-pei Chen is a chartered accountant, corporate reporting consultant and integrated thinking advocate. Having started her career in tax practice, she has enjoyed a varied career in professional education publishing and in research and policy. She is currently working as a freelance technical expert for the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB).

While working for the global professional body, Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), Yen-pei led the organisation's thought leadership research and policy influencing on corporate reporting, sustainability reporting and tax. In doing so, she engaged with policy-makers at EU, international and UK policy makers, including the European Commission, the OECD, the IFRS Foundation, IFAC and HMRC to influence future policy direction.
She has a special interest in the role that tax can play in a just transition, as well asintegrated reporting and its impact on corporate culture. Lately, her keen commitment for well-being for all has prompted her to start training as a music therapist.
