This summer, Seeta Patel Dance takes its acclaimed outdoor production of The Rite of Spring on tour across England, bringing this powerful reimagining of Stravinsky’s iconic ballet to festivals and public spaces in Leicester, Bradford and Luton. Excitingly, The Rite of Spring outdoor touring promises to bring a new perspective to each city it visits.
Performed by a dynamic ensemble of dancers, The Rite of Spring fuses the energy and precision of Bharatanatyam with one of the most influential scores ever written. The Rite of Spring offers a unique opportunity to experience this celebrated work in the open air, where movement, music and environment combine to create a visceral and unforgettable performance. In Leicester we are working with Inspirate and Nupur Arts offering an Advanced Workshop for local artists which will be a great opportunity for participants to work with our Artistic Director, Seeta Patel.
